• Necesito un convertidor linear, pero su empresa no los fabrica

• Puedo comprar un convertidor de Radio de Banda Ciudadana (CB) de 10 amperios por el coste de uno de sus convertidores de 3 amperios, y además funciona con los móviles.
  For cellular you only need 3 amps. CB manufacturers realise that CB radio users cannot talk and listen at the same time. So they have to use "overs". This means that the transmitter is only keyed up for short periods during conversation and then there are long periods of standby use.
• Quiero que la unidad trabaje a altas temperaturas. ¿Puedo utilizar una unidad AlfaTronix?
  If the ambient temperature is likely to be higher than that specified on our leaflet then look at the de-rating calculation. Our units will work in temperatures of up to 80°C if sufficiently de-rated.
• ¿Cómo selecciono el convertidor correcto?
  First you must decide if you need an isolated converter or non isolated converter by determining what type of earth is used on the vehicles electrical system.
• ¿Cómo utilizo los modos continuo y discontinuo?
  You need to match the load characteristics with the continuous and intermittent ratings of our converters.
• ¿Qué diferencia hay entre el distintivo CE y el distintivo E?
  The CE mark is required by the "cover all" EMC Directive 89/336/EEC which is now mandatory. This directive is designed to make sure that electronic products do not interfere with each others operation. It applies to all products that do not have their own specific EMC Directive. That last statement is important. All our products are CE marked.
