Electronic Production Workers Required

Alfatronix currently have vacancies for Nimble Fingered Electronics Assemblers.

Working in small 'cellular' teams, the job involves, component insertion, SMT rework, wave soldering, self inspection to agreed standards, mechanical assembly, testing, labelling and packing. 

If you have excellent eye to hand dexterity, can work quickly and efficiently to high standards and have experience of electronic assembly and rework practices, please call to arrange an interview.

Job Specification for Sales Representative - Power Products

Alfatronix Ltd is a Manufacturer of Voltage Converters and Power Supplies based in Poole, Dorset.  We employ 30 people and export 75% of production.  See http://www.alfatronix.co.uk/

As a result of ongoing development of the business and forthcoming new product introductions, Alfatronix Ltd currently have a vacancy for a Sales Representative to further develop our customers and markets throughout Europe.

The role will be UK based and include some travel throughout the UK and continental Europe dealing with existing clients as well as developing new business.

The suitable candidate will:

•a)                   have a proven track record of successful sales development within the communications or automotive industries.

•b)                   Have relevant knowledge and/or experience and/or academic achievements in the fields of electronics or radio communications or vehicle electrical systems

•c)                   Be a self starter who can work alone, motivating themselves and using their own skills and imagination to develop the markets for Alfatronix products.

•d)                  Of all of these, by far the most important is the presence of a fundamental and aggressive sales talent, a commitment to maintain regular contact with prospects and a demonstrable technique for overcoming sales objections and closing deals.

Full product training will be provided.

Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.

Power Electronics Engineer

As part of our ongoing development plan, we require another electronics engineer to join our expanding development team designing DC-DC Converters, Power Supplies, DC-AC Inverters and Battery Chargers.  The team will design innovative new products which will be marketed internationally. 

Relevant skills and experience in design and development of one or more of the above core areas is essential.

The role will include:

• Liaison and project management activities.
• Working with external design organisations.
• Designing electronic circuits using both analogue and/or digital technology
• Researching and understanding new and alternative design options for our products.
• Liaising with mechanical engineers 
• Producing schematics and BoMs
• Liaising with production staff on new product introduction and ironing out quality and build issues.

Requirements:

• A good educational standard is required, probably to degree level.
• Relevant experience in one or more of the following; DC-DC power conversion, DC-AC power conversion, AC-DC power conversion, AC-DC battery charging
